Iain J. Clark, BSc MSc PhD CMath CPhys CStat CSci
His work covers the full life cycle of model development, from requirements analysis and theoretical investigation through to practical software delivery using numerical analysis and optimisation for model calibration, and technologies such as C++ and Excel on the IT side. While highly qualified, with a PhD in applied mathematics, an MSc in financial mathematics and a Graduate Diploma in statistics, he is a practical, hands-on quantitative professional with excellent problem solving and communication skills. He is as comfortable giving a seminar in a university department as he is giving an update to senior management in the boardroom. He has worked in the fast-paced environment of the front office trading floor of reputable investment banks such as J.P. Morgan, BNP Paribas, Lehman Brothers, Dresdner Kleinwort, Standard Bank and UniCredit. He has an excellent industry reputation for successfully completing challenging technical projects with a strong commitment to usability, mathematical correctness and test-driven software development. He holds the professional accreditations of Chartered Mathematician, Chartered Physicist, Chartered Statistician and Chartered Scientist. His leisure interests include guitar and art.
